Philadelphia Eagles star running back LeSean McCoy doesn’t just cut on a dime on the football field, he apparently leaves them as tips.

McCoy, whose Twitter handle is @CutOnDime25, came under scrutiny Tuesday for apparently tipping 20 cents on a $61.56 bill Monday at a popular Northern Liberties burger joint.

Tommy Up, the outspoken owner of PYT, located at The Piazza at Schmidt’s, was infuriated with the lack of hospitality and posted a photo of the receipt on Facebook with the message: “That is a .03% tip. New record! “

McCoy told the Daily News, “It’s bull****, man,” but wouldn’t divulge more information. The newspaper further reported that McCoy wasn’t happy with the service and the tip was a reflection of his experience, but that the team wishes he handled it differently.

Some are calling the receipt a fake but Up said McCoy was definitely there.

“They were kind of being real d___s to our staff,” he said. “Which is fine, you’re allowed to be d___s to the staff as long as you tip them, I guess.”

Since the news broke, the restaurant received several 1-star reviews on Yelp claiming experience with bad service.

“I’d like to say I’m sorry,” Up said, “but these slanderous reports of bad service did not happen (to McCoy),” he said.

Maybe McCoy threw cash on the table?

“Nah,” Up said. “The only dimes on the table were the two on the check. … and if it came down to it, we have excellent video surveillance of it.”

The photo of a check with Sean Connery’s name in place of McCoy’s, which made the rounds on social media, was a fake, Up said. “I have the receipt on my fridge at home and it doesn’t say Sean Connery.”

Evan Mathis, the Eagles guard who famously posted a an outrageously large receipt on social media that he later admitted was fake, offered his take on Twitter: “So… Don’t sit in Rob’s section?”
