This year’s “Racing for Open Space” looked a little different, but the sentiment was still the same.

Saturday marked the 90th running of the Radnor Hunt Races, held in Chester County. Although this year was unique as the number of patrons were limited in attendance to stay within the safety guidelines in accordance with state COVID-10 regulations, people were thrilled to once again experience the beloved tradition. Patrons enjoyed delicious tailgate parties, wearing their best derby fashions including fancy hats and bow ties.

For decades, the Radnor Hunt Races has been Racing for Open Space, raising funds and awareness for the Brandywine Conservancy’s open space and clean water programs. To date over 63,000 acres have been preserved.
