Roy Halladay exited Monday’s game in the fifth inning. The stifling Chicago heat had reduced his uniform to a puddle of sweat.
One day later, the Phillies ace said he was feeling much better. Halladay doesn’t expect to miss his next start, which is scheduled for Saturday.
“He got a little dizzy,” skipper Charlie Manuel said after the game. “We were a little concerned about dehydration.”
Halladay completed most of his normal workout routine yesterday, save some cardio, as the pitcher blamed a combination of intense heat and too much travel for the exhaustion.
