Police are looking for three suspects involved in a strong-arm robbery on a SEPTA bus in West Philadelphia earlier this month.
The incident occurred March at 4:30 p.m. near 52nd and Market streets. Police said the victim was waiting for the bus when a male approached him and said, “where you from … give me something or I’ll call my crew.” The victim ignored the suspect and walked to another stop and boarded the bus.
According to police, a few stops later, the suspect and two other males boarded the bus and approached the victim and said, “You making this difficult. Just give me what you got.” The suspect then grabbed the victim and took his phone and TransPass from the victim’s pocket. They then got off the bus around 52nd and Haverford.
The suspect is described as a black male, 18 to 21 years old, 200 pounds, 5 foot 10 inches, short hair and a mustache, wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans. The two other “persons of interest” are described as black males, 18 to 21 years of age, about 5 foot 10 inches. One was wearing a green shirt with “Dirty clean”, tan pants and a camouflage hat. The other has braided hair, wearing a white tee shirt, blue jeans, key-chain around neck and a black and blue hat.
