The man caught on videomasturbating while riding on a Broad Street Subway car in August was identified as a SEPTA Transit Cop, the transit agency announced Monday.
After the video surfaced in October, SEPTA launched an investigation during which a transit police captain identified the perpetrator as Kevin Fant, 44, a 12-year veteran of the force, according to a statement. Police served a search warrant at Fant’s home on Oct. 28 and found the same clothes the perpetrator was seen wearing in the video.
He was placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the “Disciplinary process,” according to SEPTA Spokesman Andrew Busch.
