Don’t worry, commuters. There won’t be a SEPTA strike on Monday morning.
Over the weekend, Transport Workers Union Local 234 voted in favor of a new contract union members negotiated with SEPTA officials two weeks ago.
The contract passed with overwhelming numbers as 2,478 City union members voted in favor while 791 City members voted no; Frontier union workers — 144 voted in favor with 23 opposed; Red Arrow union workers — 61 voted in favor while 40 were opposed.
