Don’t worry, commuters. There won’t be a SEPTA strike on Monday morning.

Over the weekend, Transport Workers Union Local 234 voted in favor of a new contract union members negotiated with SEPTA officials two weeks ago.

​​The contract passed with overwhelming numbers as 2,478 City union members voted in favor while 791 City members voted no; Frontier union workers — 144 voted in favor with 23 opposed; Red Arrow union workers — 61 voted in favor while 40 were opposed.
