Sheryl Sandberg comes to the Free Library of Philadelphia

If you’re a passionate, career-driven girl boss, chances are you’ve already read Sheryl Sandberg’s 2013 book, “Lean In,” which continues to inspire women to take charge in the workplace.

After losing her husband in 2015, Sandberg, who also serves as the COO of Facebook, didn’t think she and her children would ever be able to be truly happy again.

Adam Grant, a friend and also a psychologist at Penn’s Wharton School, filled her in on the steps to emotional recovery, forming the basis of their book collaboration “Option B.”

On April 26, the authors will discuss the book and overcoming hardship at the Irvine Auditorium, located at 3401 Spruce St.

Tickets cost $35 each for general admission and include a copy of the book.
