The Philadelphia Police Department says a couple wasn’t just window-shopping on Jewelers Row – and now a jewelry store is missing a $6,000 necklace.

Cops said that on Jan. 18 around 3:45 p.m., the two suspects entered a jewelry shop on the 800 block of Chestnut Street asking to peruse some goods. “While the owner was occupied,” the PPD alleged, “the suspects removed a six thousand dollar white gold necklace from the counter and then fled the store.”
