Stroehmann’s Bakery is holding a Phillies-themed sandwich-making contest through the end of the month.
As a part of the company’s Sandwich Slamm, fans can upload their creation, which, in case the lead didn’t tip you off, should be Phillies-themed and made with Stroehmann’s bread, to the company’s website or Facebook page for judging.
Each week, a sandwich artist wins four Phillies tickets and, at the end of the month, viewers can vote for their favorites. The grand prize winner will take home tickets to see the Phillies’ March spring training in Clearwater.
If nothing else, the contest gave us the gem of a creation depicted, a honey ham and cheese BLT by Louis C, winner of week three, that bears more than a passing resemblance to the Phanatic.
