Superfan may be sent to Gotham

Charles Nagle, a 36-year-old married father of two from the Far Northeast, allegedly likes fusing television with reality.

Nagle named one of his daughters Bat Girl and now he — a self-described singer/songwriter who also goes by the name “Chaz Rose” — is in jail because of allegations that he stalked Kathryn Erbe, who plays Detective Alexandra Eames on “Law and Order: Criminal Intent.”

Sandy Silverstein, spokesman for the Brooklyn, N.Y., district attorney’s office, said Nagle is charged with stalking and aggravated harassment for, among other things, traveling to the set to get a photograph with the actress, to whom he wrote two years of obsessive fan mail. Nagle allegedly sent reams of love letters about Erbe to her relatives including the actress’s underage daughter, and kept a MySpace blog about her.

Nagle will be at the Criminal Justice Center for a hearing this morning to determine whether he’ll be extradited to Brooklyn. Andrew Wellbrock, the Philadelphia assistant district attorney handling the case locally, said Nagle is being treated as a fugitive from justice and will face extradition provided the judge agrees they’ve submitted proper paperwork.

Nagle, who went through sex-offender counseling after pleading guilty to corrupting a minor, false imprisonment and indecent assault in an unrelated 1996 case, has been held on $50,000 bail since his March 24 arrest.
