Support in her bid for Playboy

The bond between a mother and daughter is one of the most important in the world.

And Lindsey Weigand has nothing to worry about. When the 22-year-old dancer approached her mother, Lynn, about auditioning for Playboy, there wasn’t any hesitation. She would support her, even offering to tag along for moral support.

“I’m a little nervous, but it’s exciting,” said Lynn, 53, of Lawrenceville, N.J. “We’re proud of her. We would never hold her back.”

“She trusts that I would do tasteful things,” Lindsey said.

Lindsey was one of 52 applicants strutting her stuff in front of Playboy photographers and editors at an open casting call yesterday in Center City. If chosen, she could be featured in a variety of publications, from online to print. The ultimate prize is Playmate of the Month.

“It would mean a lot, I finally have the confidence to do something big,” Lindsey said. The seed was planted earlier this month, after Lindsey won an amateur modeling contest and was published as the Page 6 girl in The Trentonian.

“I dance … so people thought I shouldn’t be around that environment anymore,” she said.
