If you’re a resident of Delaware County or Chester County, you know the drive-thru market Swiss Farms well. For nearly 50 years, the iconic brand has been a beacon of shopping convenience, supplying patrons with prepared foods, snacks and even gallons of milk.

Swiss Farms now needs the public’s help in naming their mascot — a happy go lucky yet currently nameless rooster.

From now until Nov. 11, customers are instructed to complete a Mad Libs-esque letterthat will assist in the naming process.

On Nov. 14, customers will vote on their favorite name out of three finalists and the winning name will be announced on Nov. 21.

The person whose name wins will receive a month’s worth of free ice cream which is defined as a pint of Bassett’s ice cream each week.

Scott Simon, CEO of Swiss Farms, says of the opportunity:
“The Swiss Farms Rooster, much like the legacy store silos, is an instantly recognizable part of our trusted brand. We thought, after nearly five decades, it was about time the Rooster had a chance to play a more active role and hope our loyal customers will have fun helping us come up with a creative and fitting name.”

What sorts of names will customers come up with? Only time will tell. Click here to submit your picks.
