Teen Shot in E. Germantown Home Invasion Robbery

A teen was shot in an East Germantown home invasion robbery last night.

A man knocked on the door of a house on the 6000 block of N. 21st Street shortly before midnight and asked for “Antoine.” When a woman opened the door, three men forced their way inside. They pushed the woman, 49, onto the floor and tied her up, striking her with a silver handgun.

During the struggle, the woman heard a shot from upstairs. After the thieves fled on foot with about $600, she found that her son, 19, had been shot once in the left hand.

He is in stable condition at Albert Einstein Medical Center. Police continue to investigate.
