The Phillies are hosting 1980’s Retro Night Friday night when the team takes on the San Diego Padres.
Festivities include:
- 1980’s Dance Party: From 5:30-6:30 p.m. there will be an ’80’s themed dance party on the Budweiser Rooftop above Ashburn Alley. There will be prizes given out for best dressed.
- Phanavision Player Headshots: Phillies players will be displayed on the big screen dressed as TV and movie characters from the decade.
- First pitch: Al Holland, a former Phillies relief pitcher (1983-85), will throw out the first pitch.
- Uniforms: The Phillies and Padres will both be wearing 1984-era uniforms.
