The Philadelphia School District on Thursday fired three principals in a growing cheating scandal.

The School Reform Commission fired the three principals after determining they had roles in manipulating results of standardized tests, KYW Newsradio reports. The report identifies the fired principals as Huey Elementary’sDeidre Bennett, Tilden Middle’s Michelle Burns and Lamberton Elementary’s Marla Travis-Curtis.

Superintendent William Hite said the three administrators were fired as a”result of those actions that were the most significant” in the cheating scandal.

Dozens more teachers and administrators have been implicated in the scandal.
