Two escape from separate prisons in neighboring states

Police in two states are looking for two correctional facility escapees.

Quamyr Seals, 14, fled on foot at 6:15 p.m. yesterday from the Snowden Cottage Delaware Youth and Family Center in Wilmington, Delaware after returning from a medical appointment.

Troopers, a K-9 unit and a helicopter patrol searched the area, but were unable to find him.

He is described as a five-foot-two, 130-pound black male with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt, blut t-shirt, blue sweatpants and sneakers and is known to frequent the Riverside area of Wilmington.

Shane Hopkins, 39, broke free while being transported to the Atlantic
County justice facility in Mays Landing, New Jersey last night around 8
p.m., police said. He was jailed on charges including theft and robbery.

He is described as a five-foot-three, 135-pound white male with brown
hair and blue eyes and may still be wearing an orange jumpsuit.

Anyone who sees either escapee is asked to call 911.
