Two police officers were injured in a car accident at Broad and Pattison around 1:45 this morning when a woman in a Ford Escort ran a red light, forcing them to drive into a pole.
One officer was admitted to Jefferson Hospital for surgery on his left leg but is in stable condition. The second officer was treated and released.
The female driver suffered no injuries. No word yet on whether charges will be filed.
