Two who pulled guns on cops held on $1M bail

Two people who pulled guns on Philadelphia Police yesterday were hit with a slew of charges with morning, according to the DA’s office.

Kaheem Spurell, 18, and Shakir Lee, 20, both of Philadelphia, have been charged with aggravated assault, conspiracy, violation of the Uniform Firearms Act of Pennsylvania, possession of an instrument of crime, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person.

The incident happened on the 2400 block of Berks Street.

Both suspects have been arraigned and bail has been set at $1 million each.

A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Aug. 8.
