VIDEO: East Oak Lane 7-Eleven robbed at gunpoint

Philadelphia police are seeking the man who robbed the East Oak Lane 7-Eleven on Saturday.

The robbery happened about 7:30 p.m. at the store at 6771 N. 5th St., according to police. The suspect pulled a gun, tossed a red bag on the counter and told the 18-year-old clerk, “You have 15 seconds to give up everything.”

After the clerk filled the bag with cash from three registers, the suspect fled south on 5th Street.

Police described the suspect as a black male in his early to mid-20s, 5 feet 8 inches or 5 feet 9 inches tall. He was wearing a dark blue baseball cap, a dark hooded jacket, dark pants and blue latex gloves.
