VIDEO Police Seek Three Men in Thirteen South Philadelphia Robberies

Police are seeking suspects in thirteen robberies that have occurred in the area of Lombard and Federal streets and 7th and 22nd streets within the last month, including a broad-daylight mugging at the Ellsworth-Federal subway station last Sunday.

All thirteen robberies occurred between August 23 and September 19 and may have been committed by the same three suspects.

In the latest incident, a man, 42, was walking through the Broad Street Line platform at the Ellsworth-Federal station around 11:45 a.m. when three men approached and demanded his backpack.

One of the suspects pointed a black handgun at the victim as they struggled for the bag.

The men fled on foot west on Federal Street as other riders began to enter the subway platform.

The suspects are described as a five-foot-six black male between 14 and 18 years of age with a dark complexion wearing an off-white hoodie, dark blue jeans with multiple wear marks and holes and gray sneakers; a five-foot-seven black male between 14 and 18 years old wearing a blue hoodie and dark jeans and sneakers; and a five-foot-six black male, aged 14 to 18, wearing an off-white hoodie, black track pants with large white stripes down the legs and dark sneakers.
