A Philadelphia family has fallen victim to the masscre in Orlando over the weekend.

Akyra Murray, 18, traveled to Florida on Friday for a vacation with her family. Saturday night, she, a cousin and a friend went to Pulse nightclub, Murray’s father told CBS Philly.

The FBI later confirmed that his daughter, who had graduated West Catholic Prep just weeks prior, was among the victims in a shooting that claimed 49 lives and injured another 53.

Murray was a “superstar” and a “leader” among her classmates,West Catholic Prep said in a statement posted to its website Monday. The teen was an honors student who graduated third in her class and was a 1,000-point scorer on the Lady Burrs basketball team. She had signed a letter of intent to play for Mercyhurst College.

“At a time like this, let us work together to move beyond fear,” the school’s statement said. “Let us come together to find peace and strength in God, seeking comfort from our loved ones—and in our community.”

The school will offer grief counseling for all students through the rest of the week, and plans to hold a vigil in her memory.

“Our hearts are broken, but together we will mourn Akyra’s loss and provide comfort to one another to honor the memory of such a wonderful young lady.”
