It’s the end of October, and that means it’s finally time for everyone’s favorite spooky occasion— Halloween. The City of Brotherly Love has plenty to do and see for the holiday, and Metro has your guide on what you should check out on October 31st.

Frankford Hall-oween Costume Party

The popular Fishtown hotspot is partnering with Mainstay Brewery for their annual Halloween extravaganza. All Philadelphians are invited to sport their best Halloween costume and walk the run-way for a chance to win the grand prize of best costume and a $100 STARR gift card. Guests can also enjoy $5 and $10 drink specials from Mainstay while DJ Craig Dash keeps the music spinning all night long.

Tradesman’s Halloween Party

Head to Trademan’s for one of the most colorful Halloween parties in the city. From 8 pm to 10 pm, there will be an open bar special and a small bites buffet available for $35 ahead and $45 at the door, then from 10 pm-2 am DJ Tonka will be spinning beats to really heat the party up. Costumes are encouraged, and the best-dressed guest will also win a prize.

Boo-Bahn at U-Bahn

U-Bahn is throwing down for the spooky holiday, and this Midtown Village hotspot is certainly not holding back. Boo-Bahn is the first of many monthly Thursday night parties, and this month’s theme pairs perfectly with Halloween (look for Thankful Thursday in November.) Boo-Bahn will feature $5 well cocktails, $4 drafts and a specialty ‘ecto-blood’ cocktail boasting mango vodka, Midori, pineapple, orange and cherry. There will be no cover Thursday night plus DJ Billy G will be providing the music.

Jet Wine Garden’s Halloween Monster Mash

Head to Jet Wine Bar’s next-door wine oasis Jet Wine Garden for their Halloween Monster Mash. The Monster Mash will feature music, decorations and themed cocktails including their Michael Myers Mule (Stateside vodka, apple cider, lime and ginger beer, $10) and Black Widow Smash (El Humoso smoked tequila, rosemary, lemon, blackberries and honey, $10), orange wine flights ($16) with wines from Spain and Italy, plus wine and candy paired flights featuring Twizzlers, candy corn and more ($13.) Both flights will also be available until Nov. 3.

Burlesque at the BOOcherie

Head to Old City hotspot Royal Boucherie for their eclectic spin on Halloween with Burlesque at the BOOcherie. There will be eight performances from a various amount of talented dancers including Lulu Lenore, Violet Outburst, Fagl Roq and Ginger Leigh. Tickets ($40) include burlesque performances, a welcome drink and door prizes.

Assembly Rooftop Lounge’s Halloween Party

Head to the gorgeous indoor-outdoor rooftop lounge overlooking Logan Square for their Halloween extravaganza. The party will feature themed specials including their Haunted Frosé (served with charcoal capsules to turn it black, $14), Aperfall Spritz (a frozen Aperol spritz, $14), Boo Carre (a pumpkin chai veux carre, $15); and a Devil’s Reach Golden Ale draft for $8. There will also be a costume contest from 6 pm-9 pm. According to a release, first place will receive a free pod booking, second place will receive a cocktail making class with the lead bartender, and third place will receive a date night at Assembly for two with hot chocolate cocktails and a paired dessert.

Halloween at Garage Passyunk and Fishtown

Head to both Garage locations on Passyunk and in Fishtown to join in on their Halloween festivities. Garage Passyunk will be hosting a Fright Night 90s themed party (8 pm-2 am) featuring 90’s jams, specials, themed cocktails and a costume contest (winners will be chosen for best 90s and best overall costume), while Garage Fishtown will be hosting a Red Bull Halloween Costume Party (9 pm-2 am.) The first 20 guests will receive a complimentary “blood bag” and there will also be Red Bull cocktail specials, music from DJ Ernesto and a costume contest.
