You can buy Temple tickets and pieces of Wilt’s court on eBay

The Eagles gave Todd Herremans a contract extension, but not much else on the first day of NFL’s free agency period. A previous report of the Birds signing Dan Connor seems erroneous now.

Anyway, we decided to see how much tickets to Temple’s opening round NCAA tournament matchup (opponent to be determined between California and South Florida) is slated for Friday at 9:50 p.m. EST in Nashville, Tenn. The Owls have expressed a desire to get into the Sweet 16 and it’s very possible since they are in one of the easiest regions in the entire Dance. Temple’s standout guard Ramone Moore is dedicating the tournament to his cousin, who died in a tragic car accident.

Anyway, we scanned StubHub and prices aren’t too bad right now. Tickets are going for between $59 to $68 for the first-round matchup. If Temple wins, they play the Michigan-Ohio winner.

Speaking of auction sites … we also double-checked eBay to find out what the pieces from the court where Wilt Chamberlain scored 100 points on were going for these days. You may remember that the Sixers gave away pieces of the court as a fan giveaway two weeks back.

Almost immediately, fans took to eBay to sell the FREE giveaway. At first, the historic court pieces were going for as much as $200. As of Tuesday night, they were going for as low as $40. No exact estimate on how much they are worth.
