Bartram’s Garden

This 45-acre National Historic Landmark, created by America’s first botanist, John Bartram, dates back to the 1850s. Aside from being a great place to take in the changing leaves you can also learn a thing or two about from their guided tours.
Morris Arboretum

Independence National Historic Park

Already a popular spot for its historical significance, Independence National Historic Park is also great for taking in the fall scenery. While you won’t see a ton of trees, you’ll see just enough for it to feel like fall in the city with a side of history.

Who says you have to be on your feet in your leaf peeping adventures? Cozy up on a bench in Washington Square Park with a good book and a coffee from nearby Talula’s Daily and to take in the fall foliage, all you have to do is look up and around — you’re surrounded by trees! It’s also a great place for people watching, if you’re into that sort of thing.
